Added Support for SSO Login
We've made updates to CCC ONE user account management in order to support enhancements made to login, identity management, and SSO.
New user account creation now validates user names against reserved domains across repairer organizations. When creating a new user, you will not be allowed to enter a user ID that ends with a domain of an organization to which you do not belong. If the user ID entered ends with a reserved domain, you'll receive a prompt with instruction to update the user ID.
Additionally, shops configured to login using their own Identity Provider (IdP) will no longer be able to change or reset passwords within cccone.com. The "Reset Password" button is hidden in the employee profile and the "Change Password" link is hidden in My Account settings.
To manage user accounts on cccone.com:
- Login to cccone.com
- Go to Settings and select Employees
- Select an employee record to edit
- Select the User tab to add or edit the user account
Notes:
- To manage user accounts you must have Create, edit, and deactivate user login accounts permission
- Reset/change password is only hidden for shops using SSO with their own IdP
