Here's what's new in cccone.com 2023.08.31 release for Repair Facilities.

Note: The availability of the features below may vary based on the products licensed by your company.

Import & Export Workfile Data

Users now have the ability to import and export estimate EMS and workfile copy files from cccone.com. Users can:

• Export estimate EMS
• Import EMS assignments
• Import EMS part price changes
• Import part provider XML
• Export CCC workfile copies
• Import CCC workfile copies

Configuration

To import and export workfile data to your machine, you'll need to download the CCC ONE Data Transfer Application. Then you'll need to configure your import and export directories in Data Connection Settings.

To access import and export settings:

1. Go to Settings on cccone.com
2. Select Data Connections
3. Click Configure on EMS and Workfile Copy

Notes:

• To access import and export settings on cccone.com, you must have the following security permission: Enable import/export EMS and workfile copy on cccone.com
• Unlike the desktop application, import an export settings are specific to the logged in user
• For detailed instructions on how to download and install the CCC ONE Data Transfer application see Import & Export Workfiles on cccone.com

Importing EMS & Part Provider XML

To import assignment EMS and part provider XML, you must configure your import directories. For each directory specified you'll need to define the following:

• Import type (EMS or part provider XML)
• Import directory path

Once configured, the CCC ONE Data Transfer application will automatically process files found in the specified directories.

To configure import directories:

1. Go to Data Connections settings
2. Click Configure on EMS and Workfile Copy
3. Scroll to the bottom of the EMS and Workfile Copy screen
4. Set Import workfile estimate data to Enabled
5. Check or uncheck the box to automatically clear directories after files are successfully imported
6. Click Add directory
7. Select Import type and specify the Directory, then click OK
8. Click Save on the EMS and Workfile Copy screen to save your settings

Notes:

• To import EMS and part provider XML, the CCC ONE Data Transfer application must be running on the device where the import directories are configured
• The CCC ONE Data Transfer application is a Windows application. Import activity performed by the application is only supported on Windows devices.
• Importing estimate EMS from other estimating applications is not yet supported on cccone.com. Keep an eye out for this functionality in an upcoming release!

Exporting Estimate EMS

To export estimate EMS you must configure your export directories. For each directory specified you'll need to define the following:

• Export type = EMS 2.01 Estimate
• Repair facility location
• Insurance company
• Vendor
• Include/exclude customer information (personally identifiable information such as name, phone, address)
• Include full or redact VIN
• Export directory path

When configuring your directories you may choose to automatically prompt to export EMS when the workfile is saved and/or when an estimate is locked. You can manually export EMS from the workfile at any time.

To manually export estimate EMS:

1. Open a workfile with an estimate
2. Select the menu button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen
3. Select Actions
4. Select Export EMS

Whether prompted or manually executed, exported files will be dropped into configured directories.

Notes:

• To export EMS, the CCC ONE Data Transfer application must be running on the device where the export directories are configured and the export action is taken
• To export estimate EMS from cccone.com, you must have the following security permission: Enable import/export EMS and workfile copy on cccone.com

Exporting CCC Workfile Copies

To export CCC workfile copies you must first configure your export directories. For each directory specified you'll need to define the following:

• Export type = Workfile Copy
• Repair facility location
• Export directory path

Exporting CCC workfile copy is a manual action taken from within the workfile. When selected, exported files will be dropped into configured directories.

To export CCC workfile copy:

1. Open a workfile with an estimate
2. Select the menu button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen
3. Select Actions
4. Select Export workfile copy

Notes:

• To export CCC workfile copy, the CCC ONE Data Transfer application must be running on the device where the export directories are configured and the export action is taken
• To export CCC workfile copy from cccone.com, you must have the following security permission: Enable import/export EMS and workfile copy on cccone.com

Import workfile copy from disk

Users can now import workfile copy files from disk on cccone.com. Users with appropriate permission will now see an "Import workfile" button on the Workfiles screen.

To import workfile copy on cccone.com:

1. Go to the Workfiles screen
2. Select Import workfile, then From disk
3. Enter the file path where the .AWE file you want to import is located
4. Select Import

The workfile is imported and a new Copied workfile record appears in Workfile search results. At this point you can open and edit the workfile as desired.

Notes:

• To import workfile copy on cccone.com, you must have the following security permission: Enable import/export EMS and workfile copy on cccone.com
• The CCC ONE Data Transfer application is not required to import workfile copy from disk
• Importing workfile copy from the CCC Library is not yet available on cccone.com. Keep an eye out for this feature in an upcoming release!

View claim status

Users now have the ability to view insurance claim status on assignment workfiles in cccone.com. The Claim Status actions is available on assignment workfiles only. When clicking the button, a new webpage is opened displaying insurance claim status detail for the selected workfile.

To view claim status:

1. Log into cccone.com
2. Click the menu button in the upper left corner, then select Workfiles
3. Search for and select an assignment workfile
4. Click Claim status
