Overview
Some Repair Facilities (RF) and Independent Appraisers (IA) are authorized by Insurance companies to submit Market Valuation Report (MVR) requests through CCC Estimating.
The Total Loss / Valuation ID added to the Insurance Profile controls whether the MVR report is returned to the workfile in CCC Estimating.
For information on which Valuation Office IDs are to used by RF/IA users, contact the Insurance company who authorized Valuation usage.
Items to verify for MVR Return
- Check to see if the initial valuation submitted by the shop was cancelled. In the CCC Workflow Portal, go to the Claim Folder for the claim number of the workfile and view the History tab for the claim and see if initial valuation was cancelled.
- The valuation (MVR) will not return if the RF/IA submitted the valuation with the incorrect Valuation ID or if the vehicle has a Salvage or Branded title. If the initial valuation is cancelled, the new valuation will not return to the RF/IA shop's workfile.
- To refresh the communication process, close CCC Estimating. Re-open CCC Estimating and re-open workfile to see if MVR was received.in the Total Loss tab.
- For any questions on MVR reports not returning to the workfile, contact CCC Valuation (Total Loss) Group and they can send the MVR report to the RF/IA.
