How to set up CCC Estimating for use with PartsTrader

How to set up file export directories - Non Insurance Company Specific:

1. Select Configure > Machine Settings from the menu bar. The Machine Settings screen opens.
2. Click on the File Export link under Import/Export.
3. Select the type of file to export  EMS 2.01 Estimate, from the Export Type droplist.
4. Enter the export folder location or select the ellipse (...) button to browse to the folder location where you want to save your EMS exports
5. Click OK.

How to set up Insurance Specific file export directories:

1. Select Configure > Machine Settings from the menu bar. The Machine Settings screen opens.
2. Click on the File Export link under Import/Export.
3. Select the type of file to export EMS 2.01 Estimate from the Export Type droplist.
4. Select the appropriate Insurance Company name from the Insurance Company droplist.
5. Enter the export folder location or select the ellipse (...) button to browse to the folder location where you want to save your EMS exports.
6. Click OK.

How to set up file import directories for PartTrader:

1. Select Configure > Machine Settings from the menu bar. The Machine Settings screen opens.
2. Click on the File Import link under Import/Export.
3. Select the Enable import of estimates, supplements, and part changes files on this computer option.
4. Select the Part Provider XML from the Import Type droplist.
5. Enter the export folder location or select the ellipse (...) button to browse to the folder location where you want to save your EMS exports.
6. Select the Delete original files from disk after import option (optional).
7. Click OK.
8. Once you export from PartsTrader, CCC Estimating will import the updates automatically. You will see the Part Changes notification in the Updates column of the Workfiles view
