Below is a summary of differences between paint labor hours and paint supplies.
Paint Labor Hours refers to the labor required to restore the refinish of a panel(s) to pre-accident condition. Examples of this process include, but are not limited to, the preparation of a vehicle for the refinish process, applying primer, applying sealer, applying a base coat, and applying a clear coat.
Paint Supplies refers to the actual materials used during the refinish process. Examples of paint supplies include, but are not limited to, primer, base, toner, and clear coat. CCC ONE® provides the option for users to calculate an estimate of paint supplies based on paint labor hours multiplied by a paint supplies rate that is input by the user in a profile. This is one method for estimating paint supplies. The method used for creating an estimate of paint supplies is at the sole discretion of the user.
