If you are unable to obtain a valid Total Loss Threshold amount and CCC Estimating displays a Threshold n/a value, the possible causes are below:
- Zip code is missing from the workfile and the associated CCC Estimating Profile.
- The vehicle is a newer model and there may not be any applicable Total Loss data.
- The vehicle is an older model and there may not be any applicable Total Loss data.
- The MOTORS database data is not current (up to date). You may run a CCC Update Manager update to ensure you have the most current database downloaded and installed.
- The Standard Threshold Percentage that is saved in the associated Repair Facility or Claim Office Profile is missing or has not been entered.
Try updating/changing the Threshold in the associated profile, and save it. Re-open the profile, change it to its original percentage, then save and close the profile.
If you receive a TL threshold message indicating "over threshold; vehicle choice is not a factor", possible causes are below:
- The Standard Threshold Percentage that is saved in the associated Repair Facility or Claim Office Profile is missing or has not been entered.
- The vehicle is a new model and there is no applicable Total Loss data.
- The vehicle is old, so there is no applicable Total Loss data.
To add a Total Loss threshold record
