If you are not receiving messages or notifications, the problem could be related to your Repair Facility Profile Notification Group Settings or your CCC Estimating user ID Security Role Settings.
NOTE: If a notification group is set up for a particular notification type in a specific location, then any user excluded from that group will not receive the notifications. If there are no notification groups set up in the desired location, then the user should receive all of the notifications, if that is one of their assigned locations.
Verify the Notification Group
- Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
- Select the profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
- Click on the Notification Groups link under Basic Settings.
- Select the Notification Group record, and then select Edit from the toolbar.
- Edit the information, and then click OK.
- Click Save and Close.
If there are no Notification Groups, follow the instructions below to create a Notification Group.
To create a Notification Group
- Select Configure> Profiles from the menu bar.
- Select the profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
- Click on the Notification Groups link under Basic Settings.
- Select Add from the toolbar in the Notification Groups pane, and then enter the Notification Group Name description (required).
- Select the Event tab in the Notification Group screen, and then select Add.
- Select an event from the Eventdroplist, and then select the Notify tab.
- Select a user from the Do Not Notify pane, and then click the right arrow button. The user is displayed in the Notify pane.
- Click OK,, and then click Save and Close.
Verify Security Roles and Permissions
- Select Configure > Security Roles from the menu bar. The Security Roles screen opens.
- Select the Security Role assigned to the user.
- From the Select user permissions for this role from the list below pane in the Role tab.
- Verify that the user has the Correspondence and Tasks permissions enabled.
- Click OK. The selected information is saved, and the (user) Role window closes.
NOTE: You will not be able to see previous messages, new messages sent after the changes are applied will display. You can test functionality by sending a test message from the MyWork Dashboard.
