If you are unable to export to or import from QuickBooks due to either of the following errors:
- Error 3260 - Insufficient permissions
- Insufficient permission level to perform this action
These errors can occur because a user currently logged into QuickBooks may not have permission to access information in the necessary area of QuickBooks.
The logged in user needs to obtain necessary permissions or have another user with required permissions perform the task.
Advise all users to log out of QuickBooks and have one user log in with an Admin account.
If the problem persists, switch to single user mode upon login. Once Admin access is obtained, retry the export.
