CCC Payroll: Support for Contract Employees
Shops enabled with CCC Payroll now have the ability to configure employees as contract workers. Contract workers can be included in a pay period and receive payment through CCC Payroll functionality as a 1099 employee. The process for assigning labor and creating paysheets for contract workers is the same as a standard employee. Additionally, contract workers can access their pay history and payroll settings from the CCC ONE Mobile application. Just like standard employees, contract workers can:
- View the current pay period's expected pay amount
- Access pay statements for prior pay periods
- Access tax documents filed with federal and state agencies
- Access payroll settings (includes contractor type and direct deposit settings)
To access this feature:
- As a contract worker, log into the CCC ONE Mobile application
- Tap My Pay at the top of the Home screen
- To access prior pay statements, tap Pay History
- To access tax related documents, tap Tax Documents
- To manage payroll settings, tap Contractor Setup
Notes:
- Users must have the following permission to log into the mobile application: Mobile - Allow access to CCC ONE Mobile
- Shop must be licensed with the following product to access payroll features (i.e., paystubs & payroll settings): CCC Payroll
- CCC partners with Check, a third party processor, to process your payroll, including tax filings and direct deposits. Employees providing information for Social Security Number, tax withholding and pay preference settings are accessing components operated by Check. CCC does not collect, receive, or process the information provided to Check.
