Here's what's new in CCC ONE Estimating for Repair Facilities release 56.0.010290
Note: The availability of the features listed below may vary based on the products licensed by your company.
Central Review
Quality Recommendations
CCC ONE repair facilities utilizing the Central Review API have the ability to provide estimators with Quality Recommendations prior to locking the estimate. Recent updates to this feature provided estimators with the ability to view and apply recommendations without locking the estimate. This latest set of enhancements allows the shop to pass back additional information in the Central Review API response including:
- Custom label and descriptive text for the Quality Recommendations form
- Quantity
- Price
- Labor hours
- Paint hours
- Line note text
- Mandatory part code indicator
- Critical update indicator
In addition to these fields, the system will no longer list "Not valid" part codes in the Quality Recommendations screen. "Not valid" part codes were part codes returned in the Central Review API response that did not exist in the shop's part codes settings. Since these part codes do not exist in the shop's profiles, they cannot be applied to the estimate.
When the mandatory part code indicator is detected, the corresponding part code will be automatically selected to add to the estimate and cannot be deselected. When the part code is selected to apply to the estimate, the line is added to the estimate with the details displayed in the Quality Recommendations screen.
When the critical update indicator is detected, the "Apply and Lock" button is disabled and a warning is displayed in the lower left corner of the Quality Recommendations screen. The user must use the "Apply and Edit" action to address the issue presented in the Quality Recommendations screen.
To access this Feature:
- Write an estimate, then select Lock
- View Quality Recommendations returned
- If needed, check or uncheck items you want applied to the estimate
- Review any Internal Review Notes returned to determine if other updates to the workfile are required
- Select Apply & Edit
Selected items are applied to the estimate automatically. The estimate remains in a preliminary state so further updates can be made. If needed, go to the Notes tab to view the Internal Review Notes again. When finished making all necessary updates, lock the estimate again.
Notes:
- Shop must be licensed with the following product to utilize the Central Review API: Central Review
- Back-end activation of the following feature is required: Enable Central Review API
- The Apply & Edit action will apply selected items to the estimate without locking the estimate
- When available, the Apply & Lock action will apply selected items to the estimate, then attempt to lock the estimate
- If the estimate triggers Central Review, estimate lock is cancelled and the workfile is routed for review to the appropriate Central Review worklist
