Workfiles
Event Created Date
We've expanded the information available in the workfile Events screen. Users will now find a column titled, “Created Date” within the list of events. This column will ensure that shops can always reference the actual date on which an event was created. In addition to the new column, the existing “Date/Time” column has been renamed “Event Date” for clarity.
To access this feature:
- Open a workfile in the desktop application
- Go to the Events tab
The "Created Date" column is the last column displayed in the events list. Just like other columns in the list, it can be sorted, moved, and hidden/shown.
Notes:
- User must have either workfile edit or view permission to open a workfile in CCC ONE
- "Created Date" column appears in the following events screen sub-views: History, Required, Communicated, Payments
Diagnostics
Improved Error Messages
We've improved messaging displayed to the user when getting diagnostic procedures and no results are returned from a connected provider.
When the provider returns no results, the following message is displayed:
No procedures returned by [provider name].
Sometimes the call to get procedures from a connected provider takes time. If results are not returned within the expected timeframe, the following message is displayed:
Your request is taking longer than expected. Please try again in a few minutes.
To access this feature:
- Open a workfile to edit
- Click Diagnostics in the toolbar
Notes:
- Shop must be licensed with the following product to access access diagnostic procedures on the workfile: CCC Diagnostics or Calibration Guidelines
For shops enabled with CCC Diagnostics, the above described warning is displayed as an orange bar in the Review Diagnostics Procedures screen
- User must have the following security permission to add a diagnostic procedures to the workfile: Workfiles - Create and edit workfiles
- The Review Diagnostics Procedures window may be accessed on the workfile as many times as needed/desired
- Procedures from a provider will only be returned when the shop has a diagnostic scan device configured with ADAS services enabled
- For shops enabled with Calibration Guidelines, workfile must be an assignment (Open Shop, DRP, or externalized workfile) and the insurance company on the workfile must be configured with a scan provider to view diagnostic procedures
CCC ONE Help
Accessing Online Help Tools
CCC ONE users access online help via the application Tools menu. The "Help Center" option is now called "Help and Training." This is part of a gradual update to the Help resources available to CCC ONE users.
To access this feature:
- Log into CCC ONE desktop
- Access the Tools menu
- Select Help and Training
This option will launch a web browser to CCC ONE help and training content.
