Dealer Management
Export Enhancements
The DMS Interface has been enhanced to give shops more precise, role-based control over how accounting data is exported without changing the underlying integration model. These updates improve accuracy, traceability, and operational flexibility by allowing users to:
- Configure multiple accounting profiles - DMS Settings
- Include a contextual accounting memo - DMS Activity window
- Re-open and export workfile accounting data changes - i.e., supplemental export
Each of these enhancements exist while preserving existing security and default behaviors. These enhancements collectively extend the existing DMS Interface with stronger controls, clearer configuration management, and better support for real-world accounting scenarios.
To access these enhancements:
- Manage DMS Connection settings on cccone.com
- Open a workfile in CCC ONE Desktop and click DMS Activity
- In the Properties tab, view or change the Accounting Profile associated with the workfile
- Click the Note button to include a memo with the export to your DMS
- Click OK to close the DMS Activity screen
Follow these steps to initiate a supplemental export:
- First, enable supplemental export in DMS Connection settings on cccone.com
- Open a workfile in CCC ONE Desktop that was previously exported, then re-opened
- Select Close Repair Order
- Follow the steps to export the repair order to the DMS
With a supplemental export, all updates to the estimate since the last time the repair order was exported will be exported to the DMS using the next available repair order number.
Notes:
- Shop must be licensed with the following product to access this feature: DMS Integration
- User must have the following security permission to change the selected accounting profile in the DMS Activity screen: Dealer Management - Allow accounting profile to be changed
- Users with the ability to change the selected accounting profile may also enter memo text to be included with the export to the DMS
- The memo field supports up to 225 characters (not including the appended CCC RO number)
- A warning is displayed when user attempts to export repair order to the DMS and a default accounting profile has not been configured - repair order may still be closed, but export to DMS will fail
- When performing a supplemental export, data exported to the DMS uses the next available repair order number at the shop location - not the CCC ONE workfile repair order number
- Repair order number used in the export is listed in the History tab of the DMS Activity screen
- Supplemental export is currently only supported for Tekion DMS connections
Task Management
Create & Edit Tasks
We've expanded the functionality of the Task screen. Users can now search through the Task Type and Assigned To drop down fields within this window. Users can type out the name of the value desired to jump to a value within the list. This eliminates the need to search via keystroke by first letter and/or scroll through the list for the desired value.
To access this feature:
- Create a new task or open an existing task to Edit
- Select the Task Type dropdown and type to search for desired value
- Select the Assigned To dropdown and type to search for desired value
Notes:
- Shop must be licensed with the following product line to access tasks features:
- Any user with a standard login to CCC ONE may create and edit their own tasks (this includes tasks they create and tasks assigned to them)
- Users with the following security permission may manage tasks created by or assigned to any user: Manage tasks created by or assigned to others
