Settings
Estimating Options
To improve accuracy and consistency in tax handling, Estimating Options now provide control over how Sublet items are categorized and taxed when initially added to an estimate via cccone.com.
These updates help ensure Sublet items follow intended tax behavior while reducing manual adjustments during estimate creation.
Configure and Use Sublet Operations Setting
Shops can now configure how Sublet items are categorized by default when added to an estimate. Shops may choose whether Sublet items are configured as:
- Standard
- Miscellaneous Taxed (T), or
- Miscellaneous Non-taxed
The selected default categorization is automatically applied when a Sublet item is added to an estimate, supporting consistent behavior across estimates.
Notes:
- Tax cannot be applied to Sublet items categorized as Miscellaneous Non‑Taxed
- The configured default is automatically applied when Sublet items are added to an estimate on cccone.com
- This enhancement does not modify existing estimates
- Users must have the following security permission to edit repair facility profile settings: Profiles – Edit repair facility profile
- This setting does not apply to sublet lines added via CCC ONE Desktop
