How to create new employee in CCC Estimating:
- Select Configure > Employees from the menu bar.
- Select New Employee from the toolbar.
- On the Employee tab, complete any mandatory fields such as First and Last Name.
- Verify the checkbox for This employee is currently employed is selected.
- If the employee will be selected as an estimator in workfiles, select the checkbox for This employee is an Estimator.
- MSO Only - Select the Employee's Home Location. This is the location where all payroll will be completed.
- MSO Only - Select the Employee's assigned locations. Employees can access any location(s) added to the Assigned Locations section.
- If the new employee will be logging into CCC Estimating, select the User tab, then the checkbox for This employee is an active user of the system.
- Select your desired User Type:
- CCC One User - Used for logging into CCC Estimating.
- Technician User (REPAIR WORKFLOW ONLY) - Used for technicians to log in to the Mobile App to take pictures as needed.
- For the CCC One User type, enter a User ID, then click the Check Availability button. If it is not available, edit the user ID until it becomes available. NOTE: User IDs must be globally unique across all accounts for CCC Estimating.
- For the CCC One User type, select your desired security role from the Available User Roles section, then click the right-facing arrow to move it to the Assigned User Roles section.
- If your repair facility is licensed for estimating only, click Save and Close from the toolbar. Copy the temporary password exactly as it appears. It is case sensitive.
- Have the new employee login with the assigned User ID and the provided temporary password.
If you are licensed for Repair Workflow, follow steps 1-11 above.
- Select the Wages tab.
- Enter a Job Title.
- Select a Work Class: Direct Labor or Indirect Labor.
- Select the Pay Type: Salary, Hourly, Flat Rate / Commission.
- Enter the Wage amount: Salary per Pay Period, Hourly Pay Rate, Guaranteed per Pay period.
- For Direct Labor employees, click Add Line.
- Select the appropriate Labor Type from the drop-list.
- For Flat Rate / Commission pay employees, enter their pay rate into the appropriate field(s).
- Enter an Assign %. This will determine the total amount of labor that is assigned with the labor assignment.
- If you use CCC Timecard, create a timecard PIN. You may manually input a specific PIN, or use the Generate button to have CCC Estimating provide a PIN.
- If you use CCC Timecard, you may select the checkboxes on the right to customize the employee's access inside of CCC Timecard.
- Click Save and Close from the toolbar. Copy the temporary password exactly as it appears. It is case sensitive.
- Have the new employee login with the assigned User ID and the provided temporary password.
Work Class
- Direct Labor - Labor that is directly related to repairing vehicles.
- Indirect Labor - Labor that is NOT directly related to repairing vehicles (ex. Receptionist, Manager, Estimator, etc.).
Pay Type
- Salary - Employee is paid a set amount per pay period.
- Hourly - Employee is paid per hour worked.
- Flat Rate/Commission - Employee is paid based on labor assigned, regardless of the time it takes to complete. The technician can be given a dollar value per hour and/or a percentage of the labor rate per hour.
CCC Timecard
- Employee may clock into jobs without being assigned - Employees with this option selected are able to clock into any RO with or without a labor assignment.
- Employee may clock into multiple repair orders at once - Employees with this option selected are able to clock into two ROs at the same time.
