Estimating hints provide visual cues for items that may need attention on the estimate. Hints are intended to provide insight to specialized part information and common operations that may need to be added to the estimate.
Line level hints appear as a purple tag on the right side of the estimate. The counter displayed on the tag indicates how many hints exist on the line. Simply click on the purple tag to expose the hints.
Hints may be informational (e.g., Discontinued part) or they may automatically add lines to the estimate (e.g., R&I bumper). Click on the labeled hint button to view hint detail or apply it to the estimate.
You may also see hints that apply to the entire estimate. These are displayed in a purple bar at the bottom of the estimate. Clicking on one of these hints will add the appropriate part code line configured for the hint.
To dismiss or clear a hint, just click on the right side of the hint button. This will remove the hint from view while you continue writing the estimate.
