CCC connects you to Check, a third-party processor, to process your payroll. Check automates the payroll process by calculating net employee pay, collecting funds from the company’s bank account and transferring wages into employee bank accounts on payday, and remitting tax payments on time. As part of the onboard process, Check requires payroll history for the current tax year to support tax filings with federal and state agencies.
To provide prior payroll history to Check:
- Go to the Payroll Dashboard
- Click Start under step 3, Prior payroll history
- Follow the prompts to complete setup

Check offers two methods for providing payroll history:
- Migrate history automatically from your prior payroll provider
- Manually submit history by providing payroll history reports and documentation
Migrate from Prior Payroll Provider
If migrating data from your prior payroll provider, Check will prompt you to provide them with access to your prior provider. Select your provider from the list provided and follow the prompts.

Manually Submit Payroll History
If you process payroll yourself or do not want to provide Check with access to your prior provider, you can submit necessary payroll history documents manually. Select the “I run payroll manually” option from the provider list, then upload specified documents.
