Bumper Refinish Prompt Settings

The instructions below will allow you to configure the Bumper Refinish Prompt Settings within CCC Estimating.

From CCC Estimating - Desktop:

1. Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
2. Select the Repair Facility profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
3. Click on the Labor Prompts link under Estimating.
4. Locate the Bumper Refinish Prompt drop-down.
5. Select the appropriate option.
   • If the bumper refinish prompt is configured for “Do not prompt” in the CCC ONE estimating options then the user will not be prompted.
   • If the bumper refinish prompt is configured to “Prompt Defaults to No” or “Prompt Defaults to Yes” then the user will be prompted with the following question when adding a bumper to an estimate: "Refinish bumper as a separate procedure from the other panels?"
6. Select Save or Save and Close.

1. Select Settings from the menu. 
2. Select Estimating Options from the available modules.
3. Scroll down to Labor Prompts and locate the Bumper Refinish Prompt drop-down.
4. Select the appropriate option.
   • If the bumper refinish prompt is configured for “Do not prompt” in the CCC ONE estimating options then the user will not be prompted.
   • If the bumper refinish prompt is configured to “Prompt Defaults to No” or “Prompt Defaults to Yes” then the user will be prompted with the following question when adding a bumper to an estimate: "Refinish bumper as a separate procedure from the other panels?"
5. Select Save or Save and Close.
