Backing up your files
- Exit CCC ONE.
- Navigate to the directory that corresponds to your operating system.
- C:\Program Data\CCC Information Services
- Copy the CCC ONE folder to a backup device or folder location.
- For non-network installations, copy the files located in C:\CCC\WORKFILES\ to your backup device (If your drive is assigned to a letter other than C, substitute that letter).
On a network installation, copy the files located in the shared data location that you created when you installed CCC ONE, e.g., E:\CCC\WORKFILES\ (If your drive is assigned to a letter other than E, substitute that letter).
Restoring a backup
- Exit CCC ONE.
- Navigate to the directory that corresponds to the operating system on your machine:
- C:\Program Data\CCC Information Services
- Delete the CCC ONE folder if it exists.
- Navigate to the backup device or location, and then copy the CCC ONE folder.
- Paste the CCC ONE folder to the folder location that corresponds to the operating system on your machine:
- C:\Program Data\CCC Information Services
- For non-network installations, copy the backed up files (which had been located in C:\CCC\WORKFILES\ on your old computer), and paste them in C:\CCC\WORKFILES\.(If your drive is assigned to a letter other than C, substitute that letter).
On a network installation, copy the backed up files (which had been located in the shared data location E:\CCC\WORKFILES\ on your old computer), and paste them in E:\CCC\WORKFILES\, (If your drive is assigned to a letter other than E, substitute that letter). - Log in to CCC ONE.
