Unable to edit Job / RO Number

If you are having issues changing an existing Job Number/Repair Order Number note the information below.

For Repair Facilities with Repair Workflow:

• If auto-numbering is enabled, then RO number cannot be edited
• If manual numbering is enabled, then RO number may be edited via the Edit RO Number action on the workfile

When the RO number is manually entered, to edit the RO Number:

1. Open the RO.
2. Select the Workfile menu.
3. Select Edit RO Number from the Workfile section of the toolbar, then entered the desired RO number.
4. Click Save or Save and Close from the toolbar.

Note: If the RO number was initially entered while set to Automatically, even changing the Profile back to Manual will not allow that RO number to be edited. The option for Edit RO Number will not display.

For Repair Facilities with Estimating Only or CCC Comp-Est:

• If auto-numbering is enabled, then the Job Number field in the Vehicle tab is always disabled.
• If manual numbering is enabled, then the Job Number field in the Vehicle tab is enabled for input after Convert to Job action is selected

When the Job number is manually entered, to edit the Job number:

1. Open the workfile.
2. Select the Vehicle tab.
3. Edit the Job Number field.
4. Click Save or Save and Close from the toolbar.
