If you receive one of the following errors when attempting to opening an estimate or decoding a VIN, try one of the troubleshooting steps below.
- Error occurred while handling estimate model loaded event in MOTOR module.
- Error occurred while handling check database event in MOTOR module.
- Error occurred while handling vehicle updated event in MOTOR module.
- If the error(s) occurred decoding the VIN, when going to the Estimate tab, you may also receive the following message: A database vehicle has not been chosen.
Clear System Temporary Files:
- Close CCC Estimating.
- Clear your computer temporary files according to your Operating System guidelines.
- Log back into CCC Estimating and try to upload the file again.
Verify the Language and Regional Windows Settings for your computer:
- Log out of CCC Estimating.
- Click on the Windows Start button on your desktop.
- In the Search Bar type Region and Select Region and Language.
- Click on the Administrative Tab.
- Verify that the Language for non-Unicode Programs is set to English.
- If the option is not set to English, contact your computer technician to make the appropriate adjustments.
