If you receive the error message below when attempting to save or lock a file, this indicates the images and documents you attached in the Attachments tab have exceeded the allowed file size. The Allowed file size can be found in the bottom right hand corner of the Attachments tab. Try the steps below to resolve the issue. 
- Click Ok in the Error Message box.
- Navigate outside of CCC Estimating to the folder on your computer where you stored the images and documents for the workfile.
- Locate any scanned documents, as these are usually the cause of the issue as they can be scanned into the system at a high resolution.
- Resize the images and documents to a lower file size. NOTE: CCC Estimating does not allow attachments over the size of 1,464 KB.
- Navigate back to the workfile, highlight any images and/or documents that you resized, right-click and select delete.
- Click the Actions button, and then click Attach - From Folder. The File Open screen opens.
- Navigate to the resized files or images you want to attach.
- After you have selected one or more file attachments, click Open. The selected attachments appear in the Attachments pane.
- Click Save or Save and Close.
