How to Schedule & Setup Carwise.com Appointments

Your customers can now book appointments through Carwise.com and have them appear in your CCC Estimating Calendar dashboard. 

CCC Engage includes the addition of appointment creation.  You can activate and configure Carwise.com appointment slots at cccone.com under Settings > Carwise Profile.

Activating Carwise.com Appointments

To activate Carwise.com appointments:

1. Login to cccone.com with your CCC Estimating User ID and Password.
2. Expand the Site Navigation Menu, then select Settings.
3. Select the Carwise Profile tile.
4. Scroll down and Enable Online estimate appointments with Carwise and/or Online repair appointments with Carwise. NOTE: When first enabling appointments, both options will enable together. You can then Disable either appointment type if desired.

To configure Carwise.com appointments:

1. After you enable your desired appointment type, click Configure for either appointment type.

2. Select the Appointment Duration from the drop-list for your desired appointment type.

Appointments can span from 15 minutes to 2 hours. The appointment duration can adjusted in 15 minute intervals.

NOTE: When UpdatePlus appointments are enabled, the duration of UpdatePlus Appointments is linked to Carwise Appointments. If you adjust the duration for Carwise Appointments, the duration for UpdatePlus appointments will automatically be updated as well.

3. For Repair appointments select your Earliest available date.

You can select between today and 180 days into the future for Repair Appointments. Today + 4 days means the next available Repair Appointment slot will be 4 days into the future.

4. Select your desired Calendar flexibility from the drop-list.

• Flexible - This setting allows multiple appointments to be booked per time slot.
• Exact - This setting allows one appointment per available estimator per time slot.
• Strict - This setting allows only one appointment to be booked per time slot regardless of estimator schedule.

5. Select your desired Appointment Slots.

• Opened and Closed days are configured in CCC Estimating Desktop using your Customer Service hours.
• Appointment slots with Select... displaying have not been enabled.
• Appointment slots can be made within 15 minutes.
• You can have up to 10 appointment slots enabled per day.

6. When finished, click Save in the lower right-hand corner of your web-browser page.

CCC Estimating Workfiles View - Carwise.com Appointments​

When a customer books an appointment via your Carwise.com website, you receive the appointment the same way you receive new assignments from an insurance company. An alert message is received in CCC Estimating and a new record is added to the Workfiles screen. Workfiles associated with these appointments display Carwise Appointment in the Updates column in the Workfiles screen.

Configuring Work Hours

1. Select Configure > Work Hours from the menu bar in CCC Estimating Desktop.
2. Select Customer Service in the lower left-hand corner.
3. Select Configure Normal Hours to set your standard Customer Service hours for each week. Click

4. Click OK when finished with your standard hours.
5. Select a specific date in the month to configure custom hours for one day.

You can set custom hours, close for one day, and add a label to explain the difference for that one day.

6. Click OK when finished with editing the specific day.

Customizing Estimator Schedules

You can add calendar exceptions to your estimator(s) schedules. Estimators with an availability exception will not be available to receive appointments during the time period of the exception.

1. Expand the Dashboard Menu, then select Calendar. 

2. Select Click here to manage estimator schedules at the bottom of the calendar.
3. Click +Add, then select an Estimator from the drop-list.
4. Select a Status from the drop-list: Blocked time, Break, Lunch, Meeting, and Unavailable.
5. Select your desired Days for the calendar exception.
6. Select the Time type from the drop-list, and select the time range. Time type options are Before, After, and Between.
7. When finished, click OK.

8. The selected estimator is now blocked off from appointments for the selected day(s) and time.

9. Click OK, when finished customizing your estimator schedules.

Disabling Carwise Appointments 

1. Login to cccone.com with your CCC Estimating User ID and Password.
2. Expand the Site Navigation Menu, then select Settings.
3. Select the Carwise Profile tile.
4. Scroll down and Disable Online estimate appointments with Carwise and/or Online repair appointments with Carwise.
